Selena Gomez Hangs Out With Madison Prewett An Unlikely Friendship?

June 2024 · 2 minute read

Selena Gomez and the Bachelor star, Madison Prewett, were spotted hanging out together on Thursday at Target. Page Six reported that the pair revealed their reportedly newfound friendship on Selena’s Instagram Stories.

Following her message urging her fans to take care of themselves amid the coronavirus pandemic, the star shared that she and Madison were stockpiling games to prepare for a night with friends. Selena’s IG Stories features her then walking over to Madison and saying, “Madi, what game do you want?”

The reality star says to her in response, “uh, honestly, anything. Everything looks great.” Reportedly, Gomez and her new friend, Prewett, spent the night playing games with some of their friends, including Aaron Carpenter, Connor Franklin, and Liz Golden.

As most know, this comes just a few hours after Prewett and the 28-year-old, Weber, split up. Approximately two days after The Bachelor finale, in which the Bachelor revealed he was ending his engagement to Hannah to pursue his feelings with Prewett, Peter and Madison called it off.

In an Instagram post, the reality star shared that she and Peter decided to move on from their relationship. “God has a plan in all things,” Prewett shared. The star then went on to add that she would have feelings for him forever.

It appears that Selena Gomez doesn’t have much to worry about when it comes to being alone, at least in terms of friendship. Todd Malm reported earlier this week that Selena Gomez claimed she felt as though she’d be alone in perpetuity.

E! Online reported on Selena’s lyrical analysis with Apple Music and Genius, in which she discussed the words to some of her songs. Particularly, the star addressed one track, “Rare,” which also happens to be her hit.

Gomez shared that the people who all know her understand she has the biggest heart for other people, and just wants them to feel good and love themselves. Her fans’ favorite line, however, is the one, “saw us getting older, burning toast in the toaster,” which to her, was meant to describe the “mundane” things in life.
