The affair between Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez continues to move forward.

It looks like the two are committed to the idea of getting together officially and continuing their relationship.

However, they have announced that they want to finalize their respective divorces before proceeding with that.

Reports from the couple claim that they are very happy together and have been deeply in love with each other.

The two maintain an active line of communication and talk regularly. However, they insist on waiting until their divorces are officially over before doing anything more serious.

One insider told Page Six: “Lauren and Jeff talk all the time, but she wants to stay low-key until their divorces are final, when they will be together. Lauren insists she and Jeff haven’t seen each other since the Enquirer story about their affair broke on Jan. 9, and that she and Jeff both decided to stay apart until their divorces were done, which could be within a few weeks. It’s mostly to protect the privacy of their children, but also because they felt it was the right thing to do.”

The person added: “Lauren is no longer talking to her brother, and now he’s threatening to write a book about her and Jeff.”

Sources indicate that the finalization of the divorces could take a few weeks at this point, and there does not seem to be any significant obstacle in the way of either separation.

There is some speculation, however, that Bezos might have specific issues to iron out in his divorce proceedings, unlike Sanchez who has more or less closed the whole issue.

The revelation of the relationship between Bezos and Sanchez caused considerable controversy, and it has reportedly also affected both of them on a personal level.

The involvement of Michael Sanchez, the brother of Lauren, has been criticized by her, and the two are reportedly not talking at all at this point.

However, Michael had continued to insist that he was not the only source of the leaks regarding the relationship between the two and that the National Enquirer was already aware of the story before he even got in touch with them in the first place.

He told the New York Post: “I would never sell out my sister. Everything I did was to protect Jeff and Lauren.”
